I keep myself inside my wallet
I keep it right here, in my pocket
My wallets contents were lacking Washingtons
So i got a job or two and make some cash
I worked real hard and did my best
Full time, part time, hardly any rest
Those pants i wore, were getting old
A hole in my pocket started to form
While walking down to the corner store
I didnt realise my wallet fell on the floor
I worked so hard to be who i am
But i worked so hard that i lost who i was.

This is actually a very good write. A subtle message a bout the dark side of capitialism. Good job. |

Beautiful metaphor
I'd suggest not looking for the wallet, but most of the time it finds you again
Thank you |
