I am the east where the sun rises,
She is in the west where the sun dies,
I am where the moon glows on my face
She is where the candy moon beams are sweet to taste.
We care with passion
For our feelings and dislikes,
Our bond is strong you can’t imagine
We smile and laugh when opportunity strikes.
I play the flute and she the guitar
Together, no one knows how strong we are.
She is the spectrum colors and I, the rain.
The combination of beauty and power without strain.
She is the wild cat in my heart, I am the free wolf in her soul
I am the spontaneous, she, the control.
She, the cat, is witty and independent,
She cared, she loved, she shared and shoved
And why I thank her so much for our friendship.

Nice poem...I know how it feels when friends move away, it's hard to maintain a good relationship... |
