This is a sad, and lonesome tale.
For there is a prisoner,
Who has no money for bale.
He sits in his cell,
So sad and forlorn.
His clothes are ripped,
And his heart is torn.
He wouldn't have shot her,
If she hadn't said no.
He loved her so much,
And he wanted to tell her so.
He asked her to marry,
But she had thought there would be regrets.
And she said, "No, Larry."
Those words he never forgets.
He got so angry,
his heart was broken.
He was so hurt,
but she had spoken.
Now he awaits his execution day,
He never wanted it to be this way.
He just wanted a wife,
And maybe some kids.
But now for the night he closes his eyelids.
A week later, a man comes to his cell.
He was cruel,
And said Larry was going to Hell.
But Larry didn't care, he didn't want to know,
He knew for these prison guards,
This was a grand show.
After they injected him,
He cried for a while.
Then the room got dim,
And that was the end of Larry Chile.

If he really loved her he wouldn't have shot her. She might of said yes a year later. Rage is a terrible thing. |

Hmm... this is interesting. This guy may have wanted to marry her, but he was a complete psycopath. He loved her, but not in the right way. he was so screwed up that he didn't know how to love. I don't believe anyone should be executed and deserves to die, but I do think that he doesn't deserve the wife he killed. Crazy poem...
