Silenced

Contributed by Les4567 on Saturday, 19th February 2005 @ 11:14:50 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I extend my arm
For you to grab
You have no acknowledgment of my existence
I plumet through the darkness
Screaming all the way
Why didnt you take my hand?
I sense cold hard ground
I see nothing
I feel nothing
I am nothing
I am gone
I have been silenced
Silenced by the ground below me
I take a hard blow to the head
You have silenced me
If only you had the heart
To grab me when you had the chance

Ouch. I felt this one right through. You have captured the feeling of abandonment with finesse.
