Paint the Sky

Contributed by Kay-Kay on Saturday, 19th February 2005 @ 05:00:34 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I sit at night listening to the stars whisper to each other,
Wishing i could take a crayon and make my own new colors.

The sky hides so much from all of our eyes.
So if you ever remove a star are you removing a lie.

If you're ever feeling sad just go outside at night, take a look at the sky.
It brings a feeling of happiness, that will make you want to cry.

Go deep down inside your mind and picture a beautiful plain.
Where everyone is happy and nobody can feel pain.

It is hard to imagine where you went my friend.
Hopefully to a place where happy never ends.

A tear swells up in my eye when i think about the stars.
I want to reach out and touch them but they are just to far.

My friend if you are out there please just let me know.
I have been wainint for that single star, to come on out and show.

So here is a favor i'll do for you and in return for me.
Just let me know you're in a happy place, and i'll be filled with glee.

I'll keep you forever inside my heart and i'll keep you there always.
And if you send me that shining star it will help me on those sad days.

Paint the sky with happiness please do not feel down.
The stars are shining down on us and shining all around.

Kay-Kay
