At A Loss

Waiting at the place where I dwell
Assuming I’m in hell
Knowing when it happens
The dropping of a dream
Careful planning to avoid the loss
Never seeing where it came from
Never knowing where it went
Adjusting one’s rhythm
To fit in with the soul
Repairing that which you feel
But not what you know
Flying high with no where to go
Happy as can be, just like me
Stealing daylight, robbing dreams
Grabbing at relics fresh from the scene
