My Possession

Cast the shadow among silk sun rays
atch your breath turn to ice
Sensing the memory’s eternal decay
Nothing happens without a price
Flying upon the wings of imagination
Cursing the bleak reality
But that is not sufficient salvation
To save you from mortality
Give unto me your ice cold hands
Suffer in me, not alone
We’ll be as one, together withstand
Any fear, any unknown
My chin on your shoulder, I whisper,
“Don’t be afraid, I’d die for you
And though life has made you bitter
There is nothing I wouldn’t do.”
Surrender to me, breathe in my lungs
We are as one, you are my obsession
Entertwined, never coming undone
As of now, you are my possesion
