The Midnight Man
His reign began
One rainy night
When out of spite
He arose the dead
Filled them with dread
And set them upon the city
To give no one pity.
Then as they fed
He had them shed
Their words of terror
So there would be no error
Of who he was
And what he does.
Soon every soul
Knew of his goal
To turn a bright world
Into a nightmare unfurled.
