In the Morn

In the morning we'll see,
All of this life, all of everything.
No longer hidden from death's omnipresent eyes,
We shall feel the repercussions of our lies.
Razorblades and faeries dance upon our wrists,
Calling so loud no sylph can help us resist.
In the light of the fading moon,
The forest sings a mournful tune.
After this morn we shall be no more,
For the dew will be the executioner’s sword.
Tell me, do you fear our impending demise,
Or do you embrace it, like me, with open eyes?
