Please stop,
you're slowly killing me.
Can't you see the bruises you've left behind?
The mark of shame you've placed on me,
never lifted.
An artificial Heaven waits.
I drop,
all hope of what should be.
Don't you know my tears are caused by you?
This silver saline fluid diffused between my eyes,
and eyelids.
This Hell, it hurts.
Falling,
I just want to give up.
Why don't you understand what you're putting me through?
The unbearable suffering, the aching, the pain,
the despair.
Eden has closed its gates.
Giving in,
to all you do to me.
Don't you know the wrong of defiling me as you do at night?
The outrageous violation by the strength of your authority,
deadens me.
Now Heaven burns.

I read this and I felt the frustration. Although my abuse was all mental and emotional, I still had all of these feelings. Only the bruises were on the inside. |

My heart is pounding after finishing this gripping poem. Excellent expression through-out, flows well like thought out a million times. Tiffany J. |
