''Distant''

Contributed by skittles99099 on Friday, 18th February 2005 @ 05:25:02 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

People do not perceive,
The anguish we endure,
Everyday of our lives,
Every step that we embrace,
Every ridicule that is heaved our way,
Hits us like a billion knives,
At the same time,
Over and over again,
Thrashing strenuously in our minds,
Until we can take it no more,
Until I can take it no more.

I can’t take the pain.
It is so intense.

Everyone is further away,
Distant, in the past,
Colors are no longer vibrant,
They are dull,
Black and white.

Thoughts of confusion,
Like gusts of wind,
Thick in my mind,
Blocking everything else,
Confusing right from wrong,
Love from hate,
Happiness from sadness,
Until it possesses me to a point,
Where nothing is love,
And nothing is happy,
A point where,
I’m not there.

I’m distant and in the past,
I’m gone.

welcome to YPDC, where you are always a part of the family, do enjoy your self.

Yes, these words are true they dont understand because they dont see it from your (our) perspective and the pain that causes will drive you to the breaking point but when you get there yoiu will have a choice to make to take your life and be missed, (you will be missed) or to go on living with this pain for a short amount of time then relize that it made youi a better person. all these strugles do seem to be endless but therer not they will stop one day all you need to do is keep faith in God and he will help you through, and we will too.

this was a good poem I too have been there at the point where you cant see any reason for going on, but just know that there is alway a reason to go on it might not be what you think it is just let it find you and you will then be happy, please do post again. be strong and God bless.
