Saint of the praries
Beast of the Hills
Master of heat
In a Kingdom of chills
Laughs without passion
Bleak births a thrill
Camaraderie of Empty
Swallowed that pill
Shoot off your valor
In metal cased meds
All things you hunger
Will see you to bed
Smile winter wolf
And shine your new coat
Hands grasp the jaws
Of the carcass you gloat
Graves mark aplenty
The "new" land you tread
Voices sing plenty
Black friends of dead
Silence is golden
Til it rings in your head
How many times
Can you speak what you said?

i liked this a lot, your flow and rhyme was good, if a bit forced sometimes, or maybe i just didn't grasp the full meaning of the poem. i liked it though, especially the first stanza and :
"All things you hunger
Will see you to bed" |
