Lullaby From Daddy
~~~~
Son, you’re not too old
No matter what you’ve been told
To hear a lullaby from daddy
Something short and sweet
Something cool and neat
Something not too shabby
So come jump on my knee
Listen tentatively
As my words tell a story
Let your imagination run free
Take as long as you need to see
We’re in no hurry
Turn off the clutter of the tv
And the noise of the cd
They are just driving us batty
Sit back and relax
Give a little slack
And listen to a lullaby from your daddy
Time just goes too fast
Oh how quickly it seems to pass
How we’ll wish for more times like this
When it’s just you and me
Got no place we have to be
Grant your daddy this one wish
Isn't it nice to tune out all the interference in our lives and just tune in each other?
I really enjoyed this.
