Love struck
On the edge of a cliff,
You stand there still
All rigid and stiff,
No courage to help
But you’ve got to decide,
Should you jump?
Will you stay alive?
Treacherous rocks
Crushing tide,
Your verdict is clear
But as of yet untried,
You raise your arms
Take a final gaze,
Hope lucks on your side
And the decision repays,
Finally you step across the edge
And into a continuous drop,
The wind picks up
And blows you into a treetop,
It stops you falling
Helps you survive it all,
For better or worse
At least you challenged the fall
