IT’S BEEN A WHILE SINCE I HAVE ANY DREAM
IT’S BEEN SO LONG SINCE I HAVE ANY HOPE IN LIFE
AND I’VE BEEN SO FAR FROM WHAT THEY CALL LOVE
I NEVER TASTE WHAT LIFE HAS OFFER ME
THE FUN, THE EXCITEMENT, THE LIFE ITSELF
FOR ME LIFE IS NOTHING BUT AN OBLIGATION
A TASK THAT HAS TO BE DONE
NOTHING LESS, NOTHING MORE

UNTIL I MET SOMEONE
SHE TOOK ME OUT OF MY WORLD
GAVE ME SOMETHING TO BELIEVE IN
SOMETHING TO WISH FOR EVERY MORNING
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT IN THE EVENING
AND SOMETHING TO DREAM WHEN NIGHT FALL
SHE GAVE ME LIFE AND ALL OF IT’S CHARM
SHE IS MY EVERYTHING

ONE DAY SHE LEFT ME
GOING TO FIND HER OWN WORLD
IN SOMEWHERE THAT I CAN’T REACH
NOT BECAUSE OF THE DISTANCE
NOT BECAUSE OF THE SPACE BETWEEN US
BUT BECAUSE I KNOW
SHE HAS GONE TO SOMEPLACE BETTER
AND THAT PLACE HAVE NO ROOM FOR ME
I COULD ONLY DREAM OF HER

WELL I’M LEFT STANDING HERE
I’VE GOT NOTHING TO SAY
ALL IS SILENT WITHIN MY DREAM
SHE’S SO LONG AGO AND SO FAR AWAY
BUT MY DREAM LIVES ON FOREVER
I GUESS I STILL BELIEVE THAT WE’LL BE TOGETHER ONE DAY
FOR WITHOUT IT THERE’S NO
DREAM
