Though we’ve been apart
It’s only time and space
You’re always in my heart
True love I can’t replace.

Our moment’s coming soon
Time just for you and I
To catch up on our days
I pray for time to fly.

It’s been so hard without you
But it’s how it must be
I miss you more than ever
Want you back here with me.

I need to hold you tightly
And kiss you all night long
Your nights there, nearly over
Then home where you belong.

I love what you are doing
It makes me love you more
Your selflessness still showing
Much deeper than before.

Your heart is pure as gold is
Green eyes of sheer delight
But does it make me selfish?
I Need You Home Tonight.

Can’t help it that I miss you
It’s plain as black and white
I love you and I want you
I Need You Home Tonight.
