I wish i believed in you,
i wish i knew that you were truly there.
I wish that i knew i could fall back on you,
and you would catch me where ever.
I wish that you would actually listen to me
and not just ignore my pleas,
I wish you would do something
Instead of just watching casually.
I never know if you are listening,
I never know if you are watching.
IF you are, then why haven't you helped me?
Why haven't you answered my calls,
Why haven't you done a single thing?
All you do is stay there and not make a sound.
How can I believe in you if that's all that I have to fall back on?
I need something to believe in, I need to know that evil doesn't always win.
I need to know that you will catch me when I fall,
Hug me when I'm sad,
and cherish me when I'm dead.
I need to know this, I need to know.
How can you just sit back and watch people suffer without doing a single thing?
How can you not help a crying child from evil?
How can you not help a cry from his or her self?
How can you just sit back and watch?
I wish I believed in you and never wonder why,
Never wonder if you are really there,
Or if you're just a figment of this world to help them get by.
