Strange Days

Contributed by rocks on Wednesday, 16th February 2005 @ 01:38:55 PM in AEST
Topic: insomniac

Strange days are these while I count the clouds passing the moon
Odd friends come to my house to pass the time and leave too soon
Smeared signatures on testaments, and nobody knows who died
Cold bedrooms with hard pillows and all the children cried
Serve the trashcan with the best food there ever was
And let your mother sleep before you dream of wolves
Flood zones in free parking lots of the Martian embassy
And Mickey Mouse can’t walk straight on the chalk line

!?!?!?!? ok... i dont know what it was about, i lost the plot, it switched images too randomly and quickly, i didnt like it but im sure it has other potential, im in a fairly good mood, but not good enough to appreciate the madness and shallow meaning of this poem. it is of obvious intent to confuse and be random, but it was a strange attempt, i wouldnt say bad, just strange. actualy, tell a lie, i think this is metaphorical to you, but as a reader 100000 miles away i have no idea, it must be an inside joke, yeah a inside joke, inside your head!!! LOL! no im joking, its good if it was intended to be poorly strange, but other wise i liked a few lines but the rest, to be harsh was pants lol, but from your other work i can see your still a good writer, we all have our odd pieces, i know i have, so i cut you slack, oh and dont take this harshly because it is a entirely personal comment to me, you dont have to listen, cause at the end of the day, if we all liked the same things the world would be boring and i am just one person, but in my opinion it didnt catch me xxxxjazzxxxxxxxxxxx
