Damn!

Contributed by Unaekseveer1 on Saturday, 20th July 2002 @ 10:53:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Damn you are gorgeous
Damn you’re so fine
Damn it, damn it, and damn it
I wish you were mine

I could scream and shout
Till I’m blue in the face
It’d help for a while
But I’m stuck in this place

You’re refusing to talk
Not a squeak, not a sound
Just this frustrating silence
You should hear my heart pound

I love you god damn it
Why aren't you here
For the rest of my life
Not just for last year

I wrote you such crap
In the hope of response
Just talk to me please
Ya know, like you did once

Don’t listen to others
Their lies and their crap
It’s just you and me
It isn’t a trap

Don’t know what they’ve told you
Don’t know if I care
No words just my fingers
Teasing your hair

You know me god damn it
You know that I wouldn’t
Hurt you on purpose
You’re my dream, I just couldn’t

I think you still love me
Deep down in your heart
I wish you would tell me
Stop tearing me apart

I know you don’t mean to
But that’s what you’re doing
Driving me crazy
My head is unscrewing

Eating and sleeping
Two things I can’t do,
Stop ignoring me Tweetie
God damn it, I LOVE YOU

love aint easy is it!......hey you know the saying....
Needing someone is like needing a parachute. If she isn't there the first time you need her, chances are you won't be needing her again, or something along those lines....hehe
glad you came through....

I'm glad things improved...it would be tough to be hanging on to someone who did not even have the courtesy to grace you with closure. Good write...thanks for the read.
Take care,
Sherry

Hi Penny, Came through! I went through the floor with a splat, ended up in China from where I'm now walking home, wherever this may be?
I've not heard this saying before, very true words indeed! Thankyou
With love
Dean

I have been there a well, Dean. Just a couple of years ago. But I have gotten over my feelings for that particular guy and we are still friends. I think I like being friends with him more than being in a realtionship with him. I have seem how he acts in a relationship, and for me being his friend is less painful than being his girlfriend. Great poem.

Hi Candice,
I'm pleased to hear that you managed to find a friendship this way. So many times when couples break up it all goes so horribly wrong! Like mine did, I realised that it was mainly my fault but it was too late, my best friend had already stepped in with his shoulder to cry on! Except it was only me who did any crying!:-(
I did try to be friends with them both still, but I got completely ignored, so sad!
Oh well, never mind!
I'm pleased you liked my write, and thankyou for the kind words.

With love
Dean;-)

It does kind of suck when your getting ignored. Unfortunately I have been there too. Years ago, when I was around 10 I guess, But I try to learn from every experence that I am in that way I can try to improve on what has gone wrong. Sometimes that is just the best way to deal with things. at least that is how I see it.
