We talked about it yesterday,
You said you don’t really feel that way.
You told me about this the other day,
You told me not to feel this way,
You said it like it would change my mind
You really are one of a kind.
You said you felt really bad,
And that it made you kind of sad.
It’s not like you should express your guilt,
It’s not like we had a relationship to wilt.
You shouldn’t have to feel so bad,
If those feelings you never had.
