To My Valentine

Contributed by Spell_Weaver on Tuesday, 15th February 2005 @ 07:06:09 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

A hollow soul, a heavy heart
Watching my world as it fell apart
Tears are falling, wanting to scream
Knowing sides of me you've never seen

Your excuses, your words, your fears and such...
None of them matter, they cannot be touched
But seeing you now, looking at me
I still say beauty is all that I see

Don't do this to me, I begged, I cried
I can only smile if you're by my side
I've fallen in love with love again
What happens when all of my dreaming ends?

Will I know you again like I do?
When I said "Love," I knew it was true
I've never know this sadness before
Beyond my smile, there's so much more

There's a hollow soul, a heavy heart
Watching my world as it fell apart
I can't see you as only my friend
But this is the day when dreams seem to end...
