Ode to a Vampire

Contributed by bigtig6269 on Tuesday, 15th February 2005 @ 12:34:15 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

He comes through like a shadow in the night, but it’s not Darkwing Duck
If he catches you and gets to your neck, you’re completely out of luck
So silent and sleek like a tiger looking for prey
Oh it must be so great to live life this way
Sleep all day and stay up all night
Sounds like what I want my life to be like
Live for eternity, little worry about death
I would really enjoy the lack of garlic breath
Some people question if they really exist
Are they real or just one big myth
I know one person who thought they were just jokes
But he started believing when on his neck he felt two pokes
Suddenly everything turned quiet, no one around
No one to hear his scream as he twitched on the ground
Now he runs his life wild and free
I know all of this because that person was me.
