My love for you has gone past the point of sanity
Meaning I will always love you, no matter what you do to me
We've come to far and been through too much to throw it all away now
You may just be the one to bring me down, or the one who can lift me higher than the clouds
Not a second goes by where I'm not thinking of you
Because in my heart I know that the love we share is true
The pain of not being able to be with you sometimes becomes too much to bare
But then I look to the sky and see the stars shine, and I know that you are there
Even if you were to push me to breaking point and told me everything was a lie
I know I would find a way to get through and carry on with my life
Because what it all comes down to is that true love can never die
It always seems to find a right from all of the wrongs in the book of time
My days become a little longer and somewhat senseless
Because until we are finally able to meet I become more restless
And my nights become a little colder when I realise that I cannot hold you close to me
But then I fall asleep and there you are, in my dreams
The image of you forever implanted in my mind
So clear and picturesque, it will never fade away with time
Forever is a word I thought I would never be able to describe
But I now know what it means, something that cannot be denied
Even if you were to push me to breaking point and told me everything was a lie
I know I would find a way to get through and carry on with my life
Because what it all comes down to is that true love can never die
It always seems to find a right from all of the wrongs in the book of time
I love you more than what words can express
My soul empty and incomplete, full of unrest
Missing you more and more each and everyday
It's something that time cannot take away
When I say I will love you for all of eternity nothing could be more true
Because it's not what you posses or how you look that made me fall in love with you
But all of which defines you and who you are as a person, on the inside
I cannot wait until the moment we meet and our bodies and souls are intertwined

| i wanna thank you for writing that..after i read your poem i jus sat there in awww....i mean the words were so beautiful it was as if u were on a stage jus pouring out your feelings thru a mic and into the ears of all those who needed to hear it..and unfortunately i am one of those ppl...not unfortunately as n a bad thang but good b/c i' ve realized that i need 2 make a verrry special phone call 2 someone very special n my life...thank u again ~Breezy~ |
