Before into my life you came
Everything was pointless and seemed the same
There were times I laid in bed staring up at the ceiling
Those days that went by without much feeling

I had always wanted something more
But there were feelings I'd given up hope for
I stopped believing in those butterflies
I thought all this about love was lies

But all this changed, my life turned on
You've given my world a perfect reason
I want you to know how happy you've made me
How by your side is the only place I long to be

It seems it all happened so fast
But I know this is something that will forever last
You've changed me, made me feel so different
But I know this is the way it was all meant

If I could have one wish tonight
I wish to walk with you in the moonlight
I want to hold your hand in mine
While I watch your beauty shine

You are oh so perfect and wonderful
The sun has never shined on someone so beautiful
I love your gorgeous blue eyes
They send my heart through the skies

I know you're the one for me
And with you I'm meant to forever be
I know this is all to be true, and I'm not in denial
You're the one that can always make me smile
