Pollution, did you know
Is what makes the sunset beautiful?
Somethings so ugly, something we all hate
Makes the image you look at on a romantic date
I see a polluted sunset in your eyes
You are so beautiful on the outside
But on the inside you’re something horrible
Too close to the edge, emotionally unstable
You wear a veil that only I can see through
But you don’t even realize it, do you?
The pain you felt was so long ago
But nothing can take away the sorrow
Your smiled is glued onto your face
But inside you feel like such a disgrace
You’re so selfish how you just drift away
Praying that your past will fade
Everyone loves you, they orbit around you
But I know all you’ve had to go through
I’d take the burden off your shoulders
If only each day you wouldn’t get colder
I’m here for you, to lend a hand
Why don’t you start all over again?
If you could get past this, pay all your debt
Just let go of the pollution in your beautiful sunset
