Death

Topic: DarkPoetry

Death awaits us all.
Standing there across the hall.

Watches every move we make.
Watches every step we take.
Just waiting for us to break.

Watches our ego tumble.
Watches our world crumble.
Just waiting for us to make a fumble.

You begin to loose the grip.
Running out of things to hit.
Try to find a way to end this *****.

But he'll be there.
Staring down at you, oh so fair.
To tremble you wont dare.

He'll give you his hand.
Show you the land.
Makes you think that he can make it grand.

Down you will follow.
Your heart has grown shallow.
Your body hangs from the gallows.

You lay yourself on his bed.
Now this is your end.
