To my love: a letter

Topic: LovePoetry

To my love: a letter.

Some one out there is in my heart
Away from my thoughts she will never part
Residing in my emotion
Always you will have my devotion
How happy I am to have your love
May our joy be as pure as a dove.

A song to tell of our joy
Yet we hide it and are very coy
Life with you makes me happy
Occasionally will it make me sappy
So we will share our love together
Since we will have each other forever
I am giddy when I think of you
Nothing will ever separate us two

God must have made us one
Because when I saw you my search was done
Having you has made me whole
To love and honor you is now my goal
I have found my peace in your heart
And that is where true love must start

“So with my love I close this letter.”
He signs
“Joshua L. Dillon”

"I have found my peace in your heart

I really liked those lines. Very true.
But then again, I really liked the rest of it, so it's kind of like sacrilege, picking one part of the poem out.
Well take care.
David.
