Another Beautiful Day

Everytime I wake up I'm in a flurry of death,
Consuming my first gasp of fiery breath.
A constant flux of desperation floods my mind.
I can't believe it. I'm still alive.
I set my feet on a floor of cold burning hot ash.
I close my eyes. There's beauty in the darkness.
So I rise and meet the lost face in the mirror ahead.
I can't believe it. I'm still alive.
Rags of anti- pop culture cover my numb, cold bodie.
I take a seat on the floor and pull polluted air.
The voice of Satan, coming out my musical machine, relieves me.
I can't believe it. I'm still alive.
My center growls with emptiness, but I will not poison myself.
I let my razor make another path down my arm, and relax.
Analysing my chaotic mind, I come to hate my fellow man.
I walk out the door, another beautiful day.
I can't believe it. I'm still alive.
