Losing Blood
Blood will fail you
Water can't sustain
And get you through
All of your pain
Satisfaction is hard to come by
But hunger is easily gratified
Blood will fail
With veins so frail
Blood will fail
Colored by the pale
Skin shallow deep in sin
With lost innocence
Blood will fail you
As the razor cuts through
What sustains you
Until you lose

A sharp (no pun intended) clarity here.
I like it.

The following questions are from my 12-year-old daughter who was reading over my shoulder:
What are you saying ?
Cutting good or cutting bad? |
