As we slowly drift away
Would it be to much to ask,
if we could just restart.
I'll take off my mask
and show you the world,
that you so dearly deserve.

Such a beautiful angel
deserves so much more.
So all I can ask,
is that you give me one more chance
to show you the world
that you've never seen before.

My love for you,
is not something I've shown so well.
Times when you've needed me the most
I wasn't really there
to show you the world
that is yours and no one elses.

Theres so much I want to say,
but when I see your beautiful face
my brain turns to mush.
I never can say what I need to say,
to show you the world
that I want to give you.

It is my hope that the speaker finds the right words to say. They come at the strangest time and in the strangest of moments.
