MY SHININING STAR

My shining star is a light the Lord has brought into my life.
My shining star has come into my life when I was in the pit of despair.
One who has shown me the way, the truth of the Lord's might.
I reached out and One was there to encourage, uplift, listen, and show me the direction for which I needed to go, a place I could bear.

My heart is not heavy laden now, it is full of joy for the path that is laid before me.
I can have freedom to know the Lord's complete, constant love.
I am forever thankful to the Lord for sending my shining star into my life, for it is my eyes that now see.
I reached out with a cry, my shining star was there unexpectedly as a beautiful morning dove.

I am thankful for the knowledge, wisdom, compassion, the precious time my shining star has devoted.
One who shines so brightly, to give hope to those around him each day.
I know all this I say is true, it is all the Lord's working mercy that He has lead.
It is a season of friendship and growth for us in the Lord, to take one moment as we need to learn the way.

Oh How Marvelously beautiful, and so true of our wonderful Creator. I'm so happy to find those who appreciate Him and ll he does. And of course, he does indeed send up others to help us along the way! I'm so happy you finally found peace!
Your poem was outstanding especially for those of us who already know.
