Wavering Landscapes

When they danced and exclaimed
garrulously upon the
clear, green unassuming halcyon meadow
petulant with grass unceremoniously garlanding their hair
In a besotted scuffle across the fields
flanking mountains
beneath the aggressive and audacious veneer
unable to penetrate the precarious mountain peaks
invoking that intrigue
tremerarious in their
foggy sense of captivation and adventure
not so bewildering at all actually.
Then slowly and precociously
they decided to scale the ominous mountains
in all their uncompromising glory and
torpid beauty.
The wispy clouds and fog above
are seamed together in confusing unison
and cannot be sluiced through
with her frenetic tears.
A cold blistery wind
is a blizzard of storms
barreling through at jeapordous altitudes.
Have they reached the peak?
She cannot open her eyes to see.
She cannot see.
