Not so Lonely Lonliness

Grief

I'll wake up from this tradgedy
that I know just is not real
My friends are sent before me
to help me carry out my will
Don't ask me what I'm doing
because the answer is unknown
instead I will just stare at you
and keep looking under stones
I know the answer `s hiding there
right before my very eyes
Smudged behind the teardrops that keep me searching for what's right
Deep within the moonbeams and far within the light
lies the things that are so dear to me
that haunt me everynight
My lonliness surrounds me, but yet I know that you are here
Catching every teardrop
and fighting off my every fear
What would I do without you
to keep me running strong
even in the darkest nights
When I realize you are gone
Memories of precious smiles
and the calling of my name
Things that echo all around me
that I seem to shake off in the day
You were my brightest rainbow
and my only shining light
and now there is other things around me
that I must try to keep in sight
But even if your not visible
I feel your presence oh so near
helping this old weary soul
through the passing years.

Sounds like you are workinig your way through mourning. This is well done. Watch your spelling and the contractions. For instance, the "your" in the first sentence of the last stanza should be "you're" as in you are. Good stuff. Nice to see you on again.
