An old man sits on a bench.
An old man sits
and begins.
A woman rushes by.
A younger man drops a styrofoam cup.
The cup hits the floor and splatters coffee and cream.
Another man casually passes by.
The old man is wearing
a blue t-shirt
a red, “I was there” ball cap
a pair of wired rim, slightly tinted glasses.
The hurried woman wears
a pink sun dress
light brown tights and flip flops.
Her hair is in a perm.
The passing man wears
a beard
blue jeans
a white button up shirt.
The younger man is naked.
He picks his cup up
and throws it in the nearest garbage.
The old man cackles
and begins.

I like it. It's very observational, the way more poetry should be, I think. |

Tee Hee sounds like the goings on in my neighbourhood in the hot days of summer. I enjoyed this one . It left me with a chuckle.
Nice write.
