**~**MY CHRISTMAS STAR**~**

to the one who’s always on my mind
the one I’m missing all the time
the one who’s warmth could melt the ice on the Alaskan border maybe even twice
the one who’s heart is soft as snow who’s words are smooth as silk
the one who knows just what to say when my life just seems like hell
no need for me to go to heaven when my angel is right here
for God sent him not only for Christmas but to stay with me through all my years
like the Christmas star hes shining bright he shows me my way home
he brings me joy on all my days he is my fire through the cold
this is for the snowflakes that symbolize our love because it is a gift from God and will continue coming from above
for the heart that will never break the one that we both share
the things we’d do for each others sake anything, anytime, anywhere
for the people who may not understand not know that I’d easily give my hand no matter what the problem be
that he can always count on me i love him more than everything and more than what exists
i need him more than anything as the dolphins need the sea
and I wish during this Christmas time that he could be with me but instead he is far away but still is in my heart
so I carry a piece of him even though we are apart
i'll miss him now and always whether he be a mile or an inch away
because until he’s holding me I can’t complete my Christmas day
so I hope that now you know you make my life and You are me Joe you may not know it now
but if you were a word you would be WOW you show me love and give me what I need
not just on Christmas and Christmas Eve but instead you love me all year round
and everynight I thank God for the Christmas star that I have found
