**THE ANGEL A'TOP MY TREE**

** I wasn't sure what to get you 4 Christmas* *‘cause I wasn't sure what angels like* *but i thought that you might like this poem* *and I hope that I am right* *because this poem describes an angel* *of the genuine type* *a star lit in the black and endless* *darkness of the night* *a ray of hope through all the pain* *there shining bright* *a sweet and tender whisper* *to let us know that everything's alright* *the one who taught me that no matter what,* *things could be worse* *but once they've hit rock bottom* *they'll get better first* *because through all the shadows round you* *you still see* *the light that's shining in* *it's because i fear that without you* *i might loose my way again* *for the friend who guides me* *and keeps me warm* *throughout the coldest nights* *and when I am going through the hard times * *brings their end in sight* *So for the Angel that's always on top* *pushing me further* *and helping non-stop* *Always making me happy, showing me glee* *As one of my best friends* *your important to me* *So now I'm writing this poem* *and hoping you'll see* *(Patrick-) you remind me of* *the Christmas angel* *that sits a ‘top my tree**

very beautiful... you do have a very unique style. Again though, stanzas are your friend.
I'd leave the stars in though... they're pretty cool. |
