Candy Kisses

Topic: FamilyPoems

Three and three quarters years old almost four
Children forever look ahead
Valentine day was coming near
Teddy bears cards chockolet and
bags of little heart candies on the shelves
A grand daughter I could spend time wth for hours
I will not give a name since I have several each special in their own way
Some are close some hardly known
Gramps,Papa she said
Wanna share those candies we bought
"I love that we bought"
Girls do understand what they say
"Don't they"
This ones cute Gramps
What's it say Papa
Let me see "It says like me"
Do you ?
Grampa you know
Another one this is blue Papa
What's it say Gramps
Her little fingers now quite sticky
I wiped her hands with a dish rag damp
Let me see it again love child
It says "Love you"
You love me Pops ?
Of course I do,you needen't ask
Why ?
Because child you give me life
What's this one say Papa Gramps ?
Gosh it says "Wild"
I'm not like that am I Papa ?
No child your all sweetness
Just then her mother came
Grandpa she has to go home said momma
She put her sticky fingers around my neck
"I love you Papa" she said
Then proceded to give me icky-sticky-kisses
"Candy kisses"
Bye Bye I becked

Sinned
