Anger is the color of a red wilting rose with thorns;
It sounds like a shrieking bat through the midnight sky.
It tastes like scorched flesh.
It looks like dying prey.
It makes me feel outraged.
Anger is the color of blood on a street of murder;
It sounds like crunching bones.
It tastes like bitter prickly ash in your mouth.
It looks like an illusion of the mind.
It makes me feel trapped in my own prison.
Anger is the color of a red flame on a golden grassy field;
It sounds like a battle field at the start of a war.
It smells like the morgue upon the arrival of a massacre.
It tastes like being drown in salt water.
It looks like the inside of a coffin on a moonless night.
It makes me feel like Im being strangled by my own inner-self.
Anger is the fine line between Love and Hate.

Nice write descriptive of that particular emotion, at least the less mild form. This line, "It tastes like being drown in salt water." mostly appeals to me when I cry and yeah I often cry when angry, although sometimes it's delayed.
Anger is the opposite of iindifference, that's for sure.
Cheers! |
