I watched when she was little
Cute as a button
She was about eighteen months then
Just an ordinary child
Somersaults on the grass with child laughter and little smiles
Such a delight
I'm thinking as I write
O" I watched as she grew
Exploring everything just to know
Pink ruffled panties and a dress to match
A cute little toddler wanting you to catch
Everything caught her attention little ants and butterflies
Ugly grubs and earth worms
Every bird and wild bunnies
She explored in wonderment
With wide open eyes
So full of love for everything
She never changed
Every creature senced she cared
For her children nothing was spared
Debbie was always such a delight
Along with her parents I miss her still
I watched Debbie as she died
Too danmn young
Her everylasting smile told that she never gave in
Cancer was taking her down
I never heard a complaint
A Why Me
Aceptance of the narrow road
I believe the Golden Gates were open wide
Of course I cried
Dedicated to you Debbie

I'm very sorry for your loss. This is a wonderful tribute you have made for her. |

On the verge of tears here. Doesn't God take the special ones for Himself? It is His right.
What a beautiful write and tribute. You were blessed that she touched your life.
