There's nothing I can say to you now that you can hear.
I hope I said all the important things to you when you were near.
Some folks may need to write, others need a final goodbye. Many spend a long time grieving and can't do much but cry.
But you've done your time here, so I'll not think "poor me".
For death is the beginning of life, as God meant it to be......
Yes, my son, you are now laid to rest.
God makes no mistakes, and he always knows best.
I didn't know the day, nor the hour he would come.
But the day finally came when your work down here was done.
