Drifting slowly from shore
We crossed in the night
The setting perfect and timing right
We gazed into each other’s eyes
As we sailed through
That sea which would renew
A gift of destiny
For each other we were sent
But neither of us knew what it meant
Together we were
Under the moon and out on the sea
Floating aimlessly
The time we shared
Caused my love for you to grow
Only to be lost when the wind would blow
I tried so hard to win your love
And you led me along the waters
As we grew farther and farther
I thought in vain
That I was in your heart
Even though of it, I was never a part
No sooner had we met
Than we began to separate
And before I could reach you, it was too late
The wind blew
And you drifted away
Leaving me here to stay
I stared into the abyss
And was filled with grief
For your loss, there would be no relief
