still have you

Contributed by dixiegirl on Friday, 11th February 2005 @ 02:16:23 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

my thoughts are an endless parade of saddness as i sit here beside your headstone
endlessly gazing at your name carved so deep
passing my hands over the cold hard gorund where you so peacefully sleep
kissing your name as if it were your libs i fell you looking down on me from heaven so far away
so now my thoughts are no longer of a saddness but of a knowing a knowing that i still have you and the matter how long i must walk this empty road
i still have you by my side every step of the way
