Longing

Looking into those soft brown eyes
no fears, no worries, no more lies,
Tears well in these deep grey eyes,
rembering all the good times we had
and the very few of the bad
Kissing your lips to say goodbye
feeling your gentleness as I cry
longing to look back to you
but afraid i will once again make you blue
Then many nights when we truely loved,
The many times I've let you go
in a time only you and I know
A time when it was all worth while
and hearts were healed with a smile
now those times are gone
just like our love

I am going through same experience now. Im sure we can all relate to this poem.

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time. Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
