Haiku of Months

Contributed by deadheadpoet on Thursday, 10th February 2005 @ 09:48:57 PM in AEST
Topic: Haiku

Januarys' cold
Month I tend to loathe the most
Unless I'm down South

Februarys' short
Valentines and roses come
Sweet chocolate treats!

March roars like lion
Icy storms freezing all life....
*Sighs* Waits for the thaw

April, May, Spring comes!
Gentle rain induces blooms
Scents fill the garden

June, Schools out, kids play
Happy noises heard outside
Giggling and Squealing

July then August
Summers here, fun in the sun
Barefooted, Sun Bronzed

September, school time
Back to lessons once again
Homeschooling Joesie

October, fall comes
My favorite time of year
Color changing leaves

November give thanks
Join with friends and family
Reflect on first feast

December...Winter.
Children seem to love this month
Ho! Ho! Santas here!

hey sister..cool!!! good job. I'm slicing my wrists to the bone..got a band aid? LOL really great job with the haiku.. I had to delete my work but there's a reason..I'm in tears..my ex reads the poetry from his job..calls me and .. it's awful.. it shouldn't be, but .. I'm all upset and blowin' chunks.. anyway..nice haiku..:-)
