You are the gatekeeper
Of failure and success
Will the vital organs function?
proper, intact
will purgatory end
can we ever go back?
before we were slaves of desire
victims of cruelty, indecision
can we convince the decider
this is the wrong decision
consider life with precision
nothing's bought for freedom
you've paid your dues
and we've paid ours to you
gatekeeper, make breathing ordinary
make this hearts beating easy again
end this purgatory
please forgive the innocent
the victim is through
end the abuse
gatekeeper, life is out of your hands
reprocussion wasn't planned
it's inevitable
you are not the gatekeeper of life and death

The dedication above was supposed to read: to myself, 'the gatekeeper'. I am sorry for this surrender to recovery, kneel in prayers that time is on our side.~weepingprophet |
