Sweet Bearach
Why do you hide?
A tear slides down my cheek,
as I look at you and me,
you always looked so happy,
you always looked so free.
Our friendship has not ended,
my love for you's not gone,
but without you here on Earth,
it's hard to keep going on.
Krista always laughed and teased,
making a couple of you and me,
and I would deny,
the love held in my eyes.
But now when I look back,
I see far in the past,
you and I were meant to be,
we could defy the laws of gravity.
But now I can't,
sweet Bearach,
I'm left alone to dance,
cringing from heartache.
