Out on a limb,
call it what you will.
Patience is on my side
as destiny is fulfilled.
I've known for so long
that which beats in my heart.
And now the anticipated
day will soon start.
Excitement is overwhelming;
time is agonizing.
But I've learned one good virtue,
even if desire is quickly rising.
As the days stroll by,
I'll try to ignore time.
And before I know it,
I will grasp what should be mine.

Nice poem. I would call it "Destiny"
