Don't Bother

Contributed by Nazmythian on Thursday, 10th February 2005 @ 05:17:26 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

It matters not that I hurt too
It's always been, and will be about you
You hear only what will prove your cause
Ignoring facts that show your flaws
You speak of love, demand respect
Tell me ... is it my turn yet ?
Touch with claws and hardened nails
Point out where my softness fails
Speak in anger, sharp attack
Act surprised when I bite back
See the world through tinted shade
Then wonder why emotions fade

Ooooh, grrrrr! Wow, Nazzy! Never seen you like this before... I do hope it passes, cheri... I hate to see you in pain or any other mood other than happy. :*( Feel better, douce Scott! Huggles, sympathies and love! Excellent vent! Intense, like your "Guardians of the Gate." Beautiful and brutally honest. Loved them! All my love, honey! Forever,

Steph.

Another emotional write. If you need an ear...
"Speak in anger, sharp attack" I try not to, but if I'm ticked off it's never good news no matter how I try to soften it - even if I'm not that angry I guess.

You write some powerful stuff when you're ticked off!
Blessings...

This reminds me... of where I was a while back. Somewhere - buried - I have a write or two like this. Almost... exactly like this.

Well expressed, Nazzy. There is more here than words, of course - but the words are rather impactful for being so precise.

Time. - it's the only thing that saved me from this. May it be kind to you in the same (quicker in coming though!) way-
~SNM~

Can't remember seeing something like this
from you.
More one of those emotional response poems,
but you still tell a story in this shorter poem
from you.
A tale of a double standard...
"then wonder why emotions fade"

Naz, this poem represents a classic example of dealing with someone who blames, and does not take responsibility for their part in any problems. This would make most anyone angry!

Excellant write... really expresses frustration well.

Willofree,
Terry
