Her

Contributed by purplestary on Thursday, 10th February 2005 @ 01:31:09 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

you walked away as always
i knew it wouldn't last
i know deep down you love her
and i stand no chance at all

but i have so many questions,
i was hoping you could answer

am i worth the time of day?
could you love me
if you didn't love her?
would you love me
knowing all of my flaws?

i would love to ask you
so much more
but our time,
it's always cut short

but you must walk away
to the one you truly love
and this you will never read
because, coming between that love
would eat me alive inside.

so today i'll ask but one
single question,
and tomorrow will be the same
tell me how your day was,
tell me that your ok,
and tell me that your happy
then walk away
to her.......

Very sad. It's amazing to hear how strong you are to just let this person that you obviously love be with someone else. It's very rare for someone to just want the one they love to be happy even if its not with them. I have a lot of respect and admiration for you. Great job!!!
