Veiled shadows surround emptiness
Silent is the moonless night.
Can you hear me calling?
My voice, a whisper in the breeze.
Creeping near by the passing second
Craving for your soul.
Fear me Mortal for I will not rest.
Seeking, I will find you
Your soul is all I want
You are all that I live for.
I feed on your worries and fears.
Thrilled by your pain inside
Your power and your screams
The stronger it makes me.
Touching the life of your warm skin
My teeth sink to devour your flesh.
Praise me Mortal for I am a higher being.
Your soul is not all I crave
Helpless creature the more I love you
You are all that I desire.
A crimson trail slides down your neck
Its fresh coppery taste lingering
I feel your power flowing out of you veins.
My lust for you is now fulfilled
Only to find out that my heart is shattered
For causing you immense pain.
Forgive me Mortal for I have betrayed you.
My tears falling onto your wound
I love you more as you lay still
Despite my pain you are all that I desire.
Closing my eyes the agony creeps
I couldn’t hold back on how I felt
My desire to kill has abandoned me
Softly I kiss your wound as it heals
Can you still love me mortal?
After all that I had done.
Love me Mortal for I beg your forgiveness
Your soul or your power is not mine to take.
In my eyes you are all that I see
All I see is your soul.

| Intense deeply dark and woah dam good write, full on and with an emotional impact, fed by fear and ending in wanted forgiveness and beauty, excellent poem or story. |
